Clear from the start

Do we have a Volkswagen service branch in Abu Dhabi?

No. Volkswagen Repair Dubai is one independent workshop, and it is in Al Quoz 4, Dubai. We do not run a branch, a drop off point or a mobile workshop in Abu Dhabi. What we offer Abu Dhabi owners is pickup, so the car comes to the same lifts, tools and VW specific diagnostic software that Dubai customers use.

This matters when you search for a Volkswagen service center in Abu Dhabi. Some owners want a workshop round the corner, and that is a fair choice. Others prefer one specialist workshop that sees Volkswagens every day and are happy for the car to travel. The two columns below show what happens where.

Step by step

How does Volkswagen pickup from Abu Dhabi work?

The process is built around one rule. You know what is happening, and what it costs, before each stage starts. Here are the six stages, from the first WhatsApp message to the car being back with you.

  1. Send your details on WhatsApp

Message 056 464 6081 with your Volkswagen model, year, engine if you know it, mileage and the work you need. A photo of any warning light on the dashboard and a short note on the symptoms helps us plan the right checks.

  2. Confirm the pickup

Share your location pin in Abu Dhabi and the times that suit you. We confirm the pickup arrangement, the timing and any charge with you on WhatsApp before the booking is made, so nothing is assumed.

  3. Inspection and written quote

At Al Quoz 4 the car is scanned with VW specific diagnostic software and inspected on the lift. You receive a written quote that lists each part, fluid and labour line, with photos where they help explain a fault.

  4. Your approval

Nothing starts until you approve the quote. If the technician finds something else during the job, such as a leaking hose or worn brake pads, you get a message and a price first. You decide what is done now and what can wait.

  5. Service or repair

The approved work is carried out using genuine Volkswagen or OEM parts and oil with the VW approval your engine needs. The service reminder is reset and a final scan checks that no new fault codes are stored.

  6. Return to you

When the work is finished we message you with what was done. How the car comes back to you is agreed on WhatsApp, including the timing and any charge, and old parts can be kept for you to see.

We do not publish a fixed pickup fee or a fixed pickup time for Abu Dhabi. Both depend on your exact location and the day, so they are confirmed with you on WhatsApp before you book.

What we can do

Which Volkswagen services can Abu Dhabi owners book?

Pickup from Abu Dhabi is for the same work we carry out for Dubai owners. Routine Volkswagen maintenance in Abu Dhabi usually means a scheduled service or an oil change, while repair visits are often about the gearbox, the air conditioning or a battery that has given up in the heat. Each card links to the full page for that service.

Brakes, suspension, cooling system leaks, engine faults and electrical problems are handled in the same way. Tell us the symptom on WhatsApp and we confirm whether pickup and a workshop visit make sense for it.

Published on our site

How much is a Volkswagen service for an Abu Dhabi owner?

The workshop price is the same whether the car comes from Abu Dhabi or Dubai, because the work is done at the same place. Every figure below is already published on vwrepairdubai.com, and the third column says where. Pickup is not included in these figures, and any pickup charge is confirmed with you on WhatsApp before booking.

Why a specialist

Why send your VW to an independent Volkswagen specialist?

A general garage may see a Volkswagen once a week. We see them every day, so the common faults of TSI and TDI engines, DSG gearboxes and VW electronics are familiar ground. That is the main reason Abu Dhabi owners choose to send the car to Dubai.

  • VW specific diagnostic software

Every available control module is read, not only the engine, so gearbox, ABS, airbag and body faults show up too.

  • Written quote before work

Each part, fluid and labour line is listed, and the quote reaches you on WhatsApp wherever you are.

  • Extra work only after approval

If something new is found, you get a message and a price. Nothing is added to the bill without your say.

  • Genuine or OEM parts and approved oil

Parts are matched to your VIN, and engine oil meets the VW approval printed for your engine.

From Abu Dhabi to our workshop

What does the drive from Abu Dhabi to Al Quoz involve?

Your Volkswagen travels between emirates to reach our Al Quoz 4 workshop. The route and collection timing depend on where you are in Abu Dhabi and traffic on the day.

Where your car goes
  1. Abu DhabiCollection from your agreed location
  2. Journey to DubaiRoute chosen to suit the pickup point
  3. Al Quoz 4Inspection, service and repair at our workshop

All workshop work takes place in Dubai. Your location pin helps us confirm the collection arrangement before you book.

E11

The coastal route

The E11 links Abu Dhabi and Dubai and becomes Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. Al Quoz sits just inland from this road, making it a main approach to the workshop.

E311

The inland alternative

Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road provides another route between the emirates. It may suit your collection better depending on your exact location in Abu Dhabi and road conditions.

Pickup timing and cost, agreed first

Traffic and the collection point affect the journey. Share your model and location pin, and we will confirm the pickup arrangement, timing and any charge on WhatsApp before booking.

Ask about Abu Dhabi pickup
Before the handover

What should you hand over with the car and keys?

A smooth handover saves calls later. Prepare these items before the agreed pickup time, and keep personal valuables out of the car.

  1. The key you use every day

Hand over one working key or key card. Keep the spare key safely at home, so the car can still be opened if one key is lost.

  2. Wheel lock key if fitted

Locking wheel bolts need their adapter for tyre, brake and suspension work. It is often in the boot or the glovebox.

  3. Service book or records

Past invoices and the last service date help us see what is due and avoid repeating work that was done recently.

  4. A copy of the registration card

A photo of the vehicle registration card on WhatsApp confirms the exact model and helps match parts to the VIN.

  5. A note of the problem

When it happens, at what speed, hot or cold, and any warning light. A short video of a noise is very useful.

  6. Personal items removed

Take out valuables, cash and parking cards, and note the fuel level and mileage at handover.

If the car will not move

What if your Volkswagen is not drivable in Abu Dhabi?

A normal pickup assumes the car can be driven safely. If it will not start, has a serious warning light, a damaged wheel or is stuck in Park, it needs a different plan.

Our Volkswagen roadside assistance page covers roadside help and recovery. Send the details on WhatsApp first and we will tell you what applies to your case.

What our roadside page states

Dubai is the main service area
Longer distance and inter emirate requests need a specific assessment, rather than assuming a normal road collection is suitable.
Recovery is quoted for the job
The price depends on location, the help needed, the condition of the car, access and transport distance. There is no single fixed package.
Tell us how the car can move
Report a DSG or automatic stuck in Park, 4MOTION, a parking brake fault or wheel damage, so the right loading plan is used. Do not force the selector.
Safety first
In immediate danger, injury or fire, contact Police 999, Ambulance 998 or Civil Defence 997 first.
