The tyre itself
Named brand and pattern, full size, load/speed ratings, quantity and any required XL, run-flat or vehicle-specific specification.
Worn tread, a damaged sidewall or a tyre that keeps losing pressure? Our independent Volkswagen workshop in Al Quoz 4 checks the condition, matches the correct replacement and explains the fitted price before you approve.
Size, brand and construction change the price. Compare the complete fitted quote; this is a planning range, not a fixed tariff.

A tyre price is useful only when the size, exact product and fitting work are clear. Compare the same specification and quantity before choosing an offer.
This guide covers different VW models and tyre types. Compact-model choices can cost less; large SUV, performance or specialist constructions can cost more. It is not a universal minimum or maximum.
Call for your fitted priceNamed brand and pattern, full size, load/speed ratings, quantity and any required XL, run-flat or vehicle-specific specification.
Removal and mounting, wheel balancing, pressure setting and suitable valve or TPMS service items, identified in the quote.
Compare the total payable with applicable VAT. Alignment, damaged rims, sensor replacement, recovery and other repairs are separate items when needed.
Send the model, year and a clear photo of each tyre-size marking. Tell us how many tyres you need and whether the car is safely driveable. We establish the specification and supply options before agreeing a visit.
A nail does not automatically mean a new tyre. Equally, a tyre that holds air after inflation may still have internal damage. Its condition decides the work.

A suitable tread-area puncture may be repairable after the tyre is removed and inspected inside. The puncture's position, size, previous repairs and evidence of low-pressure running affect the decision.
An external plug or emergency sealant is not a substitute for that inspection.
A bulge, exposed cords, significant cuts, shoulder/sidewall damage or excessive wear needs replacement assessment. A tyre damaged by driving deflated may be unsafe even if the original puncture looks small.
A new valve or pressure reset cannot restore damaged tyre structure.
Stop somewhere safe and arrange assistance rather than continuing on a suspect tyre. Tell us if the vehicle needs transport. Recovery arrangements and charges are agreed separately.
Golf, Polo, Jetta, Passat, Tiguan and Touareg can have several factory wheel packages. A model badge or wheel diameter alone does not identify the right tyre.
Use the approved vehicle specification, tyre placard and handbook, supported by the VIN and wheel details where needed. Do not copy an existing tyre blindly if the wheels or tyres have been changed.
Front and rear sizes can differ on a staggered setup. Match the required load capacity, speed rating and construction, then check wheel suitability and any specific approval requirements.
4MOTION, loaded vans and ID. electric models need attention to the specified fitment. XL is not the same as run-flat. A run-flat conversion needs a suitable vehicle setup and guidance, not just matching dimensions.
We inspect the remaining tyres before recommending a quantity. The aim is a compatible, safe set, with a reason for every tyre replaced.
May be possible when a correctly matched replacement is available and the remaining tyre condition, tread-depth difference and vehicle requirements allow it. A matching sidewall size alone is not enough.
Often considered when the tyre on the same axle is also worn or a single replacement would create an unsuitable mismatch. Tyre guidance generally favours the deeper-tread pair at the rear, subject to the vehicle's approved setup.
Appropriate when all four are worn, aged or damaged, or a compatible set cannot be achieved otherwise. On 4MOTION, follow the model's permitted tyre and rolling-circumference requirements; there is no universal tread-difference limit for every VW.
Rotation moves tyres between permitted positions; it does not repair wear. Directional tyres, different front/rear sizes and the vehicle's instructions can restrict the rotation pattern.
Tyres come from tyre manufacturers. “Genuine Volkswagen tyres” is not a single brand or specification. We compare suitable products by their exact size, pattern, ratings and intended use.
Michelin, Continental, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Goodyear and Dunlop each offer different ranges. A brand name alone does not guarantee compatibility, noise level or lifespan. Available products and supply timing are established for your size.
Compare road noise, ride, wet braking and rolling resistance alongside the fitted cost. A higher price does not automatically make every product the best match for your use.
GTI, Golf R and other performance applications need the specified ratings and suitable construction. Do not reduce a required load or speed rating to achieve a cheaper quote.
The product, manufacture-date marking and applicable supplier warranty matter. Warranty conditions and exclusions belong with the quotation; punctures and impact damage are not automatically covered.
The job continues after the old tyre is removed. Mounting, pressure, balance and wheel security all affect the finished result.
Inspect the tyre, bead-seat area and wheel for damage. Explain a bent rim, corrosion or valve leak before adding work. Protect the wheel finish and any fitted sensor during removal.
Fit the agreed tyre in its correct direction or inside/outside orientation. Seat and inflate appropriately, then balance the wheel-and-tyre assembly with suitable weights.
Use the vehicle's pressure specification for its load and fitment. Refit the wheel with the correct fasteners and tightening procedure. A sidewall maximum is not the vehicle's normal pressure setting.
Check for leaks and carry out the applicable pressure-monitoring procedure. Explain the work, any remaining findings and aftercare. Timing depends on quantity, supply and additional faults.

A tyre-pressure warning is a reason to check the tyres. Simply clearing it can conceal an unresolved leak or incorrect inflation.
For a confirmed sensor fault, see Volkswagen TPMS sensor replacement. A fresh tyre does not repair a failed sensor.
Correct pressure and timely inspection help you get value from the tyres you buy. Do not wait for a warning light to inspect visible damage.
Check pressures when cold, using the vehicle's guidance for the load. Do not bleed a warm tyre down to the cold-pressure figure. TPMS supports regular checks; it does not replace them.
Inspect the full tread and sidewalls, including the inner shoulders. Bulges, deep cracks, cuts, persistent pressure loss or changed handling need assessment. Rotation cannot make an unsafe tyre serviceable.
The manufacture-date code identifies production week and year. Storage, use and condition also matter. Follow current local inspection requirements and tyre/vehicle guidance rather than relying on a promised mileage or one age rule alone.
The practical details before choosing and fitting a replacement.
The indicative guide is AED 500–2,500 per tyre across different VW models and tyre types. Some compact-size options can cost less and specialist or large tyres can cost more. The vehicle-specific quote identifies the exact product, quantity, fitting work, extras and applicable VAT.
A clear sidewall photo, model and year help us identify options. Send front and rear markings if they differ. We also check the approved vehicle fitment and remaining tyre condition before confirming suitability and the replacement quantity.
Sometimes. A suitable tread-area puncture may be repairable after internal inspection. The damage location, size, previous repairs and any low-pressure running matter. A bulge, structural damage or unsafe wear needs a different decision.
Not automatically. The approved tyre specification, condition of all four tyres and permitted rolling-circumference differences determine the decision. We assess the set against the particular model's guidance rather than applying one rule to every 4MOTION system.
Alignment is separate work and is identified in the quote when needed. Uneven wear, a pull, impact damage or disturbed suspension settings can justify a check. Balancing and alignment perform different jobs; neither restores a damaged tyre.
Only if the underlying issue is resolved and the correct pressure-monitoring procedure is completed. Some VWs use indirect monitoring; others use direct sensors. A leak, sensor fault or incorrect pressure needs attention before a reset.
We assess the exact model, wheel package, axle sizes, load rating and approved construction before proposing tyres. Electric vehicles can have specific load and front/rear requirements. Availability and fitment are confirmed for your car before work is agreed.
Completion depends on the number of tyres, confirmed supply and any wheel, valve, sensor or alignment work. Send the size and vehicle details first so we can explain availability and agree the visit and expected completion time.
